Two great passions in my life; travelling and painting my reality. With painting, I document my own personal experiences, composing scenes and events as I see them, for the purpose of sharing my perspective.
Though the muse varies widely from painting to painting, there is a consistent goal, to encourage this closer examination and expand by presenting them in unusual context. However, there is a repetitive attraction to figurative drawings as well as the influence of man on both of these.
A painting is not only the recreation of the original exposure, but also the result of aesthetic and technical consideration during making. Both the moment and its associated emotions are recorded.
Paint is the medium of choice for creative expression as it still mimics magic in its ability to capture my own unique perception of the moment in a form that can be shared with others.
