My canvases are filled with bold colours, hard lines, and geometric shapes, expressing an engagement with a myriad of forms of identity, including sexuality and championing diversity.
My art depicts figures whose heads take on a variety of forms. I experiment with colours to produce paintings that speak about socio-economic and political issues, as well as using colours to symbolise cultural emblems. Recently, works have been inspired by human heads and figures, translated with symbols and motifs that represent famous proverbs and maxims. Other present themes are the recording of historical events, expressed through particular attitudes or behaviours , or concepts uniquely related to abstract shapes.
